Heh, handy set of links, thanks. I was just reading about the shooting oneself in the head stuff. Yeah, if I had a gun I would have killed myself 10 times over by now, too.
I just finished a draft of a tell-all book about my time (all 7 months of it) as a postdoc at Oxford last year. Makes for grizzly reading, although I have a sneaking suspicion that the only people who will ever read it are other ex female postdocs like us. I'm getting a bit tired of my starvation diet now. The health service is busy telling me how important it is that I get that cleaning job in the next few weeks, you know, before I really start starving. Yeah, they're really helpful. Oh well, I suppose we'll all be dead soon enough.

Hang in there. Hey did you see that movie where Amy Adams takes a job helping clean up after mobsters? I wanted to see it but they took it off iTunes before I had the chance.
I just emailed you a draft. Nuh, haven't seen many movies lately, although I do love the movies. My problem is that I have been doing bum jobs since I was 15 years old, despite an affluent background. The wastage is nauseating ...
