I've noticed that my blog continues to attract votes for this category of "Are you a postdoc?"

Have to say, I'm very surprised that "yes I love it" is the most common response on your original survey. You should invite comments from people asking why they love being a postdoc. It seems like most blogs focus on the negative aspects of postdoc'cing, maybe those that love it are too busy having fun to post comments and blogs.
I admit, I waver at times from "yes I love it" to "I want to get the hell out of here as fast as I can and erase all memories of being a postdoc from my consciousness forever". But overall, if I think about it logically, I have to say the negatives of being a postdoc mostly outweigh the positives.
In the interest of getting you to program and gain the freedom of coding up all those ideas in your head that you cannot get the geeks to do for you here is the blog for you. I will try to keep it up regularly.
I like you hated asking geeks for help. The fact is they don’t care about our needs plus they know they have power over us because we cannot write programs.
Well I showed them! Revenge is sweet when you can program yourself and you don’t need geeks anymore!
