Ha! I am convinced that there is a black hole somewhere, which these things disappear into...!
Ok, ick. I hope you find it (or a passport, would that work?). A DMV trip would be a nonfun way to start the week, so good luck on your hunt.
MrPhD found it. In the pocket of the pants that I was convinced had no pockets. (apparently MsPhD of a week ago knew otherwise, but then forgot)
